The UNRWA IT Service Centre (ITSC) recently organized a wellbeing event in Gaza to foster a healthy work environment for its staff while addressing the aftermath of a recent escalation. The event aimed to bring together the Information Management and Technology Department (IMTD) at Headquarters Gaza, enabling them to connect, interact, and focus on personal and professional growth.
This event served as a platform for staff engagement and collaboration. Kaan Cetinturk, CIO and Director of the Information Management & Technology Department at UNRWA, expressed gratitude for the IMTD team, recognizing their dedication and perseverance in challenging circumstances. Stressing the importance of investing in staff wellbeing and development, the director shared updates on IMTD’s progress, including a new Gartner-UNRWA agreement that offers expert guidance, toolkits, roadmaps, and more to IMTD’s staff.
By nurturing a supportive work environment and prioritizing employee wellbeing, UNRWA IMTD ensures that its team is well-equipped to effect meaningful change in the community they serve.
