العربيةOn Monday, January 23, 2023, AMIDEAST Country Director, Ms. Maha Hasan, accompanied by Mr. Anees Abu Hashem, AMIDEAST Field Operations Manager, paid a visit to the IT Service Centre. Mr. Hani Kurdiya, Head of the IT Service Centre, and Ms. Hala Shaheen, IMTD Communications Aide welcomed them.
During the visit, Ms. Hasan and Mr. Hashem were given a tour of the IT Service Centre, during which they had the opportunity to meet with several IT professionals and hear about their experiences and successes in the industry. The visitors were impressed by our professionals’ success stories. They expressed admiration for the individuals’ determination and perseverance in building successful careers within the IT industry.
Following the tour, a meeting was held with the visitors where Ms. Shaheen gave a brief presentation about the IT Service Centre, its objective, services offered, growth over the years, and current partnerships, concluding with ITSC aspirations for the next couple of years. Mr. Kurdiya talked about ITSC’s plans to help more people and expressed his utmost pleasure in this visit.
At the end of the visit, Ms. Hasan talked about their interest in collaborating with ITSC to introduce high-school students to careers in STEM, as she believes it is the age when they start thinking about the career paths they should take.
